Pastor Lenny Gaines is Founder and Visionary of PowerHouse Christian Church. After attending a Worship Conference at World Changers Church International in College Park, Georgia in late-2003, the calling to begin a Faith-Teaching ministry in the Greater Anderson, South Carolina area was confirmed.
Pastor Gaines was licensed to preach the Gospel in March 2002 under the leadership of Dr. Curtis Hill at the New Holly Light Baptist Church, he was ordained in 2004 shortly after beginning PowerHouse.
Being a diligent vessel of God, Pastor Gaines has led this ministry from three charter members to a growing family of nearly 100, into two building acquisitions, and overseen the beginning of various ministries that meet the needs of the church membership.
Pastor Gaines was educated at Hillcrest High School, Clemson University, and will be graduating in December 2011 from the University of Phoenix.
In 2006, Pastor Gaines submitted himself to the leadership and tutelage of his Spiritual Covering, Drs. Herbert and Marcia Bailey of the Right Direction Christian Center, Columbia, SC.
As Pastor Gaines has continued to entrust the hand of God upon his life, he has witnessed the Fruits of Faithfulness, Endurance, and Patience. He ministers the uncompromising Word of God in a easy to understand and follow, practical format. He shares Practical Principles of Health, Wealth, and Success in Life to Produce Powerful People.
